Chicago Social Drinking Project (CSDP)
The Chicago Social Drinking Project (CSDP) is an ongoing scientific research study started in March 2004
at the University of Chicago. The CSDP is conducted by Dr. Andrea King at the Clinical Addictions Research Laboratory.
The study examines the effect of alcohol and other common substances on the moods and behaviors of social
drinkers through in-person experimental sessions and long-term follow-up interviews. Currently, all study
participants are taking part in the long-term follow-up phase of the study.
New enrollment for this study was completed in August 2011.
